Armada AR5 Skis Our riders and engineers worked hard last season to further improve Armada's original weapon, the AR5. They added performance and durability through the use of new materials and construction. Changes include a new nylon top sheet for better durability, an improved AR Core, stronger edges, an additional layer of TTF increasing edge hold and stability, and the new ABS Variable Slant Sidewalls for greater durability. The Variable Slant Sidewall is an ABS sidewall that is vertical under boot to increase strength over the edge where it's needed most and transitions to 60-degrees in tip and tail for decreased swing-weight to aid spinning. The combination of these changes has lead to the highest quality park ski available.
